5 Steps to the Results
The design process is not a linear, one-way path. Understanding how to use different steps, and return to these different steps when needed, creates meaningful work that connects to its audiences. With an emphasis on the right questions and researching, this 5-step process never fails,

Every great design starts with a spark. In this first step, searching for problems to solve or ways to make things better generates opportunity. It’s about spotting areas of improvement where design can make a difference.
-
Once there is a potential opportunity, it’s time to get curious. Ask the right questions (lots of them). What do people need? What could be improved? What about accessibility? These questions help understand the problem and set the direction for the rest of the process.
-
Next, let’s dig deeper. Looking at what others have done, talk to users, gather insights, and explore the space from all angles creates a clear, deep understanding of the topic. This step helps build a strong foundation before jumping into solutions.
-
Now the fun begins. Starting with sketching ideas, building prototypes, and testing things out, designing is in full-swing. It’s an iterative process, so refining designs based on feedback until landing on something that works is crucial.
-
At the end of the process, something thoughtful and useful meets real needs and makes a difference. And of course, carry what’s been learned forward to the next project!
